Lavender House was conceived as a tranquil and serene Temple in the City. Clean Modernism, the walls are sheer plains of translucent colour, with high ceilings and floating floors, the sky visible through the retractable roof ,where cloth sails billow. Trees sway in the wind in the sheltered secluded walled garden whilst  at the centre of the house , visible through glass walls lies a swimming pool, beating like a warm blue heart.
